Emotional Handling
Our emotions don’t always speak for our reality. Emotions can often be so built up that if we aren’t mentally fit, we get shifted from many facts, such as how far we’ve really come. If I’m to be honest, this was a real issue for me 2020. My emotions were on a roller coaster, headed for disaster. I began to gain my grip when I realized that my emotional handling was off. I held on to too much at once. I didn’t understand how to let go because I thought holding on would keep me from forgetting the experience or continue to push me to make necessary changes. The facts are, we can still know what we know and not allow it to consume us. Handle your emotions by letting go a lot faster. We hold on and try to process so much at once. The moment you retain information that triggers you emotionally, write it down, or make a quick mental note and then move on; this means that you’re not allowing whatever it is that could throw you off to do so. Instead you have acknowledged it, made a note of it and will handle it at the appropriate time.
